At Pelican Business Services, we have an established set of values that define what we stand for. Our values haven’t been invented they have been shaped by our company’s history, the work we do for our clients and by the experiences of our team members and the people we come in contact with.

Why we’re in business
Our mission is to develop our experience and people skills to be experts in outsourced business services. We are in business to provide excellent customer service and help and support our clients to achieve their strategic objectives and maximise their shareholder value.
Pelicans are commonly known for collecting things and storing them in a place that’s safe and secure. So are we. Just like the birds, we began life in a watery environment but today we’re recognised far more widely. We’re also both known for being nurturing and sociable. We are team members not individualists and like pelicans we stand out from the crowd.
We started life in 2001 as Bristol Wessex Billing Services Limited
We are a joint venture company owned equally by Bristol Water and Wessex Water and were established to manage all their metering, billing and collection operations and to serve as a point-of-contact for all non-operational customer enquiries.
We want to use that experience and expertise to expand our business into new sectors, new locations and with new clients. So, in 2015, we embarked on a journey involving all staff and stakeholders to develop a new name and new visual identity that would better reflect our company vision, mission and business objectives.
